Remembering Betty, a dear friend, erstwhile travelling companion and the only person able to get me taxing my brain at midnight - after a full day of sightseeing - in order to help her solve crossword puzzles. Our ventures into foreign parts were great fun so thank you, Bette, for both your company and all the giggles we shared. Rest in peace now with your beloved Phil. Gloria x

Thoughts
A lovely friend said "Remember the smile of your loved one and how many times you put I there". Miss you mum, but glad you're at peace with dad on another shore and in a greater light..... Lots and lots of love. Val, your younger daughter.

When I got home from the hospital at 3am after mum had passed on, in the peace of the night I lay in the dark and a brief image passed thought my mind that mum was back with dad having a laugh about something - I was very consoled and feel asleep with that thought in my head - from Tony, Betty's Son.
